Raffle Prize

Do you have a product or service that would be perfect for a raffle drawing?  Then, consider donating to the conference.  Your company name and item description will be marketed in multiple locations on our web site (sponsor page and raffle page), social media outlets, ticket sales, on the ticket, event program and at the event when the winners are announced.  Because of the nature of this category, we are seeking items with a value of $200 or more.  Tell us you want to participate in the raffle here: Sign up form.

Silent Auction

Participant Bags

YWCA Run/Walk

Save the date! The YWCA Run/Walk event is on September 12, 2009 at Lakeview Park in Peoria. This is an ALL WOMEN’S event! Participate in the 5k Competitive Run or the 1 mile fitness walk. And new this year, the kids (both girls and boys) can participate in the kids’ fun run.

Your registration fee includes a t-shirt and entertainment/goody bag, as well as a free plunge in the YWCA’s pool, and more!

We’d love to have a strong showing from NAWBO-CIL, especially since we are a bronze sponsor. So, mark the date on your calendar and don’t forget to register!

August Meeting Information

It’s time to get ready for the August meeting for NAWBO-CIL. We will meet Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Your RSVPs are due by Monday, August 17th.

This month’s meeting is at Mt. Hawley Country Club, 7724 N Knoxville Avenue in Peoria. Click here for a map.

Take note - we have a new start time this month! At 4:30 PM, we will feature Tim Riggenbach, 3rd District Councilman, in our new "EVERY VOTE COUNTS" series. Be sure to come early this month to hear his comments and learn more about him.

Our main speaker for the evening’s program will be Doug Whitley, President of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. This promises to be an informative night, so we look forward to a good crowd!
