Jeannie Buysee
Jeanne is a direct writer for American Family Insurance Group of Madison, Wisconsin, with over one hundred insurance products for sale. She has owned her agency since 1982 and has the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. The most important elements of her business are customer service and insurance education. She has written an insurance column in The Peoria Woman magazine every month for ten years and is always available for free quoting and consultation on insurance needs.
Her favorite leisure activities include golfing, walking, hiking, cross country skiing, writing and entertaining grandson, Seth. She lives with her husband Rod in Germantown Hills. Her son, Joe, is Sales Manager of CDS Office Technologies in Peoria and daughter, Jenny, works with her as office manager.
Jeanne has been a member of NAWBO since 1985 and served in just about every capacity including President for two years from 1989-91 and as Member Services Director. Other community involvement has included charter member of the Women's Fund of the Peoria Area Community Foundation, President of the YWCA of Peoria, and Women in Management.
